The CPC Program teaches literacy and inspires students to consider exciting career opportunities.

Your support and contributions to the Dale Caldwell Foundation (DCF) will help us expand the Classroom Press Conference (CPC) program to more schools and students.
The Classroom Press Conference (CPC) program is operated by the Dale Caldwell Foundation (DCF) using the following steps:
1. Select a partner school and schedule a CPC date
2. Identify 10 to 20 Role Models to Participate.
3. Share a 1 page bio with the Teacher of the Role Model's class
4. Students question the Role Model during the CPC Program
5. The Students write an article about the Press Conference
6. The best article wins a cash or other award
Tragically, many students are not exposed to role models and career opportunities outside of their neighborhood. The Dale Caldwell Foundation is trying to change that by identifying Role Models who are interested in being interviewed by students in a classroom. This interaction can change a studen'ts life. If you are interested in being a role model please call us at (800) 838-8414 or email us at info@DaleCaldwell.org.
Dr. Dale Caldwell created the Classroom Press Conference (CPC) program in 1997 and has seen first hand how this program can get students excited about careers and writing. Students have a lot of fun in the CPC playing the role of reporters interviewing an interesting Role Model. This program helps to enhance literacy by influencing Students to improve their reading and writing skills. We often follow the CPC program with the School-To-Work Day (STWD) program where students visit a company to experience the world of work. The CPC and STWD programs are described in more detail in the documents below.
